Christopher Chronis (born September 29, 1961 in Melbourne, Australia) is an Australian fashion designer. Chronis has designed men’s and women’s fashions under the Christopher Chronis Designs, Gas and Christos fashion labels Station. He is now the chief designer brand world creators.
Chronis grew up in downtown Melbourne suburb of Richmond, which is where his parents, both from Greece, settled.  After high school, Chronis started a civil engineering, but during the first year of his career, he gave up when he realized his passion was for the fashion industry. He pursued a sales position with a leading retailer of high fashion shoes Mr. Figgins and within a year was promoted to a management position that makes him one of the youngest leaders in society. In 1981, he joined the fashion designers Merivale and Mr John, in the retail store of their Melbourne and in 1983 he began his apprenticeship with Demitrius designers involved design and production.
Chronis opened its first store in Chapel Street, South Yarra. Other stores have been opened in Melbourne, Sydney, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. His methods were also sold by other retailers, including department stores. He launched his signature fragrance Christos in 1998 and also used the CCD brand on a number of cafes and catering companies. In 2000, after Chronis was on the brink of financial ruin stores have been seized by the Receiver KPMG, Mr. Chronis said his company would be saved by a group of investors associated with Tony Mokbel Jack Smit, borrowed 1 4 million to buy the company designer Christopher Chronis. There are three stores Christopher Chronis Melbourne (Chapel Street, GPO and Chadstone), an Oxford Street in Sydney, one in Auckland and one in Oxford Street, London. Christopher is now head of design for global designer brands, designed for the collection of icons evening wear luxury Playboy for men and women and also opened Playboy concept stores in Australia, New Zealand and a flagship London store in Oxford Street.
