Salt dough Recipe

Ingredient:

  • Plain flour (maida)
  • plain salt
  • and water

For preparing the salt dough, use a large bowl. Take 2 cups of plain flour and 1 cup of fine grained salt. Mix it with 1/2 cup water. Knead the mixture. Stop kneading when you have a smooth and elastic mixture. The kneading process might take about 5 to 10 minutes. Before using it keep the dough for 30  minutes. Use cling wrap to prevent the dough from drying.

 

Use the dough to create different shapes and let it dry. You can also bake the dough in oven to dry it. Acrylic paints can be used on baked dough. You can also learn how to make play dough
