Olive Green Make-up – step-by-step tutorial

I think there are only one or two sites made me look with this color, and this is because it was not among my favorites. But this year will produce some changes around here, so start with green :)

Let’s start with eye makeup step by step:

Step 3 - apply a matte brown shadow in the crease. Use a natural hair brush for blending.

Step 4 - apply a pink blush shade to make the transition between the fold and the area below the eyebrow.

Also in step 4, mark the lower lash line with green eyeshadow and use a brown or bronze eyeliner waterline.

Step 5 - Draw a thin line at the base of the upper eyelashes with the same brown eyeliner. You can make a discreet stem or extravagant as you desire.

In more detail, here are the list of products used:

For the face, I mixed two shades of foundation MAC Face and Body – N2 and C2. I lit area under MAC Studio Finish Concealer eye – NW 20 and have set concealer with Make-up Workshop Poudre Libre HD. To fix the foundation, I used Make Up For Ever Super Matte Loose Powder – 14.

For eye makeup, I used Make Up For Ever 12 Flash Color Case – Turquoise & Leaf Green to get the shade of aqua green from step 1 and then I used olive green color palette Make Up For Ever La Boheme on mobile eyelid. In the fold, I used two shades of MAC Corduroy and Free To Be and to the lower lashes MAC Humid. Eyeliner is MAC Fluidline – Rich Ground, and mascara is Maybelline One by One Volume ‘Mascara. We define brows with Make Up For Ever Waterproof Eyebrow Corrector – 3 shades.

A light orange blush and a gloss completed the look and shed some light by light satin textures. MAC Powder Blush and MAC Extra Dimension supercontinent Skinfinish – Whisper of Gilt as a highlighter over cheekbones. MAC Cremesheen Glass – Imperial Light is used lip gloss.

PS: If you are a little thinking, 2013 is the year of the snake. And green was the color designated 2013. This could be an explanation why I turned to green, right? :)
